Hamilton Point Investments

Hamilton Point Investments LLC (“HPI”) is a real estate private-equity investment company that owns and manages multifamily apartment properties, manufactured housing communities and hotels. HPI invests through investment funds raised from individual accredited investors through a selling group of independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.

The firm was founded in 2009 by J. David Kelsey and Matthew A. Sharp. It has acquired more than 150 properties for $3.4 billion since inception and has over 250 employees.

Multifamily Apartment Properties

HPI Funds and affiliated entities have acquired over 32,000 apartment units. The properties are managed by wholly owned Hamilton Point Property Management LLC (“HPPM”). HPPM is responsible for cost-effective, efficient, and institutional-quality property-level staffing, leasing, maintenance, contracting, marketing, and reporting.

Manufactured Housing Communities

HPI Funds and affiliated entities acquire manufactured housing communities in partnership with Manufactured Housing Partners LLC (“MHP”) whereby HPI is the fund manager and MHP is the asset manager. The properties are managed by HPPM’s manufactured housing management group.

Limited and Full-Service Hotels

HPI Funds and affiliated entities acquire hotels in partnership with hotel investor BPM & Co., Inc. whereby HPI is the hotel fund manager and BPM is the hotel asset manager. Griffin Hotel Management LLC, which is partially owned by HPI and BPM principals, is the property manager for the hotels.
