J. David Kelsey - Hamilton Point Investments

J. David Kelsey

David Kelsey is co-founder and Managing Principal of Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Previously, Mr. Kelsey was a managing principal with Trinity Hotel Investors L.L.C., a New York-based real estate and hotel investment partnership formed in 2002. During his tenure at Trinity, Mr. Kelsey was involved in every aspect of the firm’s property investment, including origination, acquisition, financing, asset management, and successful disposition, growing the company to 22 properties at its peak with total costs of $500 million. He has over 25 years of real estate investing, lending and advisory experience. Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Kelsey was with the Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.'s Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Group as a senior Vice President acting for public and private real estate clients in securities placement, capital structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and dispositions. He also served as a loan officer for M&T Bank in New York City, underwriting $75 million of loans for commercial real estate borrowers. Mr. Kelsey made his first direct real estate investment in 1988.

Mr. Kelsey received an A.B. in History modified with Geography from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management. He has served on a number of municipal and non-profit boards and commissions.

Matthew Sharp - Hamilton Point Investments

Matthew A. Sharp

Matthew A. Sharp is co-founder and Managing Principal of Hamilton Point Investments, LLC.  Until 2005, Mr. Sharp was Director of Loan Origination in the Real Estate Finance Group at ABN AMRO Bank, N.V. and was responsible for identifying, sourcing, negotiating and closing approximately $600 million of CMBS loans.  Prior to joining ABN AMRO Bank, N.V., Mr. Sharp was a lead analyst at Standard & Poor’s where he was responsible for eight commercial mortgage back securities offerings totaling over $7 billion of securitized mortgage debt. Previously, Mr. Sharp was a Vice President in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Gruntal & Co., Inc. and a member of the Acquisitions Group at Schroder Real Estate Associates, a $1 billion real estate investment fund.  Mr. Sharp began his real estate career in 1991 as an analyst in the Investment Properties Group at CB Commercial Real Estate where he was responsible for preparing financial and market analyses for office and retail properties.

Mr. Sharp graduated from Columbia University (B.A. 1990) and received his Master's Degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University (M.S. 1991). He is Chairman of the Town of Lyme Board of Finance and on the Investment Committee of the MacCurdy-Salisbury Educational Foundation.

Bart D. Giustina, CPA - Hamilton Point Investments

Bart D. Giustina, CPA

Mr. Giustina is Chief Financial Officer of Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Previously, Mr. Giustina was Chief Financial Officer with Readco, LLC, a privately held real estate investment and management company located in Old Lyme, Connecticut , which owns and manages over one million square feet of commercial real estate. Mr. Giustina oversaw all aspects of the Accounting Department relating to two operating companies (ownership and management) and over 60 LLCs which owned and managed real estate assets. Prior to his tenure with Readco, Mr. Giustina worked for KPMG, Peat Marwick in Springfield , MA and Haggett, Longobardi & Company in Glastonbury , CT.

Mr. Giustina is a 1985 graduate of Central Connecticut State University where he received a B.S. in Accounting and has over 20 years of experience as a public accountant.

Edward C. Tracey - Hamilton Point Investments

Edward C. Tracy

Mr. Tracy is Senior Vice President of Asset Management, located in the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Tracy has worked in multifamily asset management for over 30 years. Previously, he was Director of Asset Management, Southeast Region, for Strand Communities in Atlanta and spent 14 years as Senior Multifamily Asset Manager with The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio. He began his career with the National Corporation for Housing Partnerships and Oxford Realty Services. Mr. Tracy graduated from The Pennsylvania State University (1983) with a B.S. in Real Estate and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Cecil E. Morgan, III - Hamilton Point Investments

Cecil E. Morgan, III

Mr. Morgan is Vice President of Asset Management, located in the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Morgan has over ten years of experience in real estate asset management and financial analysis. Previously, Mr. Morgan was a Multifamily Asset Manager for Trimont Real Estate Advisors in Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining Trimont, he worked as a Partner at Oakbowery Management and Colonial Bancgroup. Cecil has a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2004).

Kristen Becher - Hamilton Point Investments

Kristen Becher

Ms. Becher is Director of Investor Relations where she assists with all aspects of investment capital formation and investor relations and reporting. Previously, Ms. Becher was with the lobbying firm Gaffney, Bennett & Associates. She received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2010.

Bridget Chase - Hamilton Point Investments

Bridget Chase

Ms. Chase is Vice President of Investments where she focuses on financial and market analysis, valuation, due diligence, financing and closing of HPI acquisitions. She also spearheads disposition processes for HPI property sales. Previously, Ms. Chase was Senior Real Estate Appraiser for Valbridge Property Advisors, where she spent six years valuing multifamily and commercial properties. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from University of Connecticut in 2008, where she majored in Real Estate and Urban Economics.

Chrissy Martel - Hamilton Point Investments

Chrissy Martel

Ms. Martel is an Associate in the Investor Relations group, reporting to Kristen Becher. She focuses on investor reporting, broker-dealer inquiries, investor communications and marketing projects. She had worked as an intern for Hamilton Point Investments while in college and joined full time upon her graduation. Ms. Martel received a B.A. in Business Administration from Endicott College in 2014.
